Fora Health’s Medical Director for Withdrawal Management, Dr. Jennifer Hartley, spoke with KATU News about the Drug overdose spike in Oregon and the challenges treatment facilities have in its wake.
Dr. Hartley said, “It’s really just a medical stabilization service. And then if we’re not able to connect folks after that stabilization and initial start-in medication – if they need it – to ongoing care, we see return to use again and again.”
