Dr. Eowyn Rieke to Present at National Conferences in 2024

Dr. Eowyn Rieke, Fora Health’s Outpatient Medical Director, recently had three presentations accepted to national conferences in 2024. She will present “Maximally Supportive Care: Creating Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Systems to Improve Engagement and Retention” and “3.7R Medically Monitored Residential: Creating a Critical Service for Complex Patients” at the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) 55th Annual Conference (Dallas, Texas – April 4-7), and “Fent to Bupe: Paths to Success from Camp to Clinic” at the 2024 National Health Care For The Homeless Conference & Policy Symposium (Phoenix, Ariz. – May 13-16).

With more than two decades of experience in the medical and addiction treatment fields, Dr. Rieke is instrumental in Fora Health’s planned expansion of outpatient services. She began her career working as a family doctor in Lawrence, Mass., and before joining the Fora Health team in 2021, served as Associate Medical Director at Central City Concern’s Old Town Clinic, as well as Services Director and Medical Director at their Blackburn Center. Additionally, Dr. Rieke has served as community faculty for Oregon Health & Science University’s (OHSU) addictions medicine fellowship, supporting the training of future generations of expert providers for substance use conditions. Dr. Rieke received her medical degree from Brown University and has dedicated her medical career to caring and advocating for traditionally underserved populations.

Dr. Rieke’s participation in these conferences underscores Fora Health’s commitment to advancing the field of addiction medicine and enhancing care for all who are affected by substance use disorder. We are proud to support Dr. Rieke’s contributions to these conferences and believe that her insights will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of addiction medicine and healthcare for vulnerable populations.

In addition to her selection to present at these prestigious conferences, Dr. Rieke was also recently recognized as a Top Doctor in Addiction Medicine in Portland Monthly’s 20th annual list of the metro area’s top medical providers, as chosen by their peers.
