We are excited to welcome three new members to the Fora Health Board of Directors: Kevin Valk, Owner, Principal, and Design Director of Holst Architecture, Dr. Amit Shah, CareOregon’s Chief Medical Officer, and Dr. Paul M. Conti, Psychiatrist and Consultant with Pacific Premier Group. All three bring a wealth of relevant talent and expertise to the Board as well as a passion for the equitable treatment of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders in our community

De Paul / Fora Health’s new treatment facility designed by Holst Architecture was recently honored with the 2019 Design Excellence Award from the Portland Design Commission. The award recognizes a project that exemplifies good design, as well as context, public realm, and quality and resilience.

Introducing Fora Health, a healthcare nonprofit providing treatment, care, and advocacy for all who are affected by substance use disorder. Formerly De Paul Treatment Centers, Fora Health builds on nearly five decades of experience and excellence delivering individualized care plans to support people and families in recovery. The new name is a renewed promise to our region, to offer exceptional, comprehensive care while also introducing an unmatched facility, deepening long-standing partnerships, and engaging the public in education and advocacy.

Fora Health was one of five treatment centers in Oregon to receive funding through the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Authority (SAMHSA) to help address our region’s opioid use public health crisis.

Fora Health has gone virtual for the 21st Annual Freedom Awards. While we were not able to gather in person this year, we still came together to celebrate recovery and recognize individuals who are giving back to our community in extraordinary ways. Join us for the recap of this year’s celebration.
