Kevin Valk
Director
After graduating from Roger Williams University with his bachelor’s degree in Architecture in 1996, Kevin moved to Portland in search of something different. As a project designer and manager at Holst for more than twenty-four years, Kevin has been an integral part of the firm’s growth and success.
As Design Director, Kevin guides the overall design direction of the office by working with each team, providing guidance and support in meeting the project’s goals, while also setting the tone for design being a priority in the office culture and professional development.
Kevin has worn multiple hats, deftly guiding projects from schematic design through construction. His passion for design, commitment to serving his clients’ needs, and diverse skill set are the hallmarks of his tenure at Holst.
