We are honored to have Newsweek rank Fora as the 4th best addiction treatment center this year, moving up one spot from last year.
Newsweek’s survey evaluated facilities in the 25 states with the highest number of addiction treatment centers, according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The remaining states were grouped into four regions, and the facilities from these states were considered accordingly. The list utilizes four data sources, including a national online survey of medical professionals and administrators working in addiction treatment centers, as well as accreditation and care services data provided by SAMHSA, and Google reviews.
This year, they increased the weight of the accreditation rating and included new accreditations for Federally Qualified Health Centers, SAMHSA certification for opioid treatment programs and Drug Enforcement Agency authorization. Additionally, a new pillar was added to account for recovery support, education, and counseling services offered.
We’ve worked incredibly hard over the last year to improve the experience and outcomes for patients at every level- and there’s still so much we aspire to achieve. That’s why we are grateful to be recognized for this.
This also wouldn’t be possible without the kind support of our donors. They ensure we continue improving our care to address the addiction crisis in Oregon and help people reclaim their lives.
