This event recognizes community members who support and work toward ending the stigma of addiction. \nThis year’s recipient of the Samuel C. Wheeler Freedom Award is Representative Tawna Sanchez who has been a behavioral health champion in the legislature and helped to lead the Oregon’s recent historic investment to support those who struggle with addiction and mental health conditions. We will also honor Representative Rob Nosse and Senator Kate Lieber with the Spirit of Recovery Advocacy Award for their legislative leadership and work as behavioral health champions. \nLearn more about our honorees. \nThank you to our sponsors! \n \nWe are requesting that guests attending the Freedom Awards be fully vaccinated.  Also that guests should not have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been exposed to anyone who has COVID-19 within 10 days of the event.
